Oludayo “Dayo” Olujekun is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over three decades of experience spanning tourism, hospitality, strategic brand communication, marketing, sales and project management.

He holds a degree in Accounting and is an alumnus of Pan-Atlantic University Lagos Business School and Y Combinator’s Startup School, San Francisco.

Dayo founded Equatorial Express, an enterprise focused on promoting domestic tourism in Nigeria, and has since built an extensive career across the hospitality, tourism, events and brand communications sectors. He played key roles in establishing and developing ventures including Bheerhugz Café at Ikeja City Mall, Dynasty Sports Bar at Delta Mall Warri, Evron Food Store and Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort, contributing to growth, guest experience and business development.

In 2001, he founded Toford International Ltd., a strategic brand communications company that delivered major projects including the Guinness Black Gold Concert, Sony Ericsson Campus Storm, Sound City Music Video Awards and Maltina Dance All Competition.

His career has also included work across talent management, hospitality, events and business development, with projects for organisations including DSTV Nigeria, Guinness, Tony Elumelu Foundation, Oracle, GE, Cisco, Bank of Industry and Access Bank.

He later established Event Techniques Ltd., providing event and experiential services to leading international brands including Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Rémy Cointreau and Crocs.

Dayo has also held senior leadership roles within the hospitality sector, including serving as Deputy General Manager of Glocient Hospitality, concessionaires of Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort and Conference Centre, where he contributed to the successful revamp of the resort. He subsequently joined Fortis Lifestyle and Hospitality, concessionaires of Whispering Palms Resort.

He is a member of the Institute of Hospitality, UK, and a former State Chapter President of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPAN).

Mr. Emmanuel Frimpong is a distinguished African tourism consultant, researcher, educator and policy advocate with more than two decades of professional experience spanning tourism economics, sustainable development, hospitality education, destination management and international development finance.

He is the Founder and President of the Africa Tourism Research Network (ATRN), Director General of the Global Alliance for Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism (GAEST) and Chief Executive Officer of Pishon Consult Ltd. He is also Co-Founder of the Africa Medical Tourism Council and a Principal Facilitator at the Hotel, Catering, Training and Tourism Institute (HOTCATT).

Mr. Frimpong is currently pursuing admission to the Doctor of Philosophy in Consumer Sciences, with a specialisation in Hospitality Management, at The Ohio State University, USA, where his proposed doctoral research focuses on sustainable tourism financing and investment models for emerging African destinations.

A regular international conference speaker and media commentator on tourism and hospitality, he also hosts Focus on Tourism on CH TV in Ghana.

Mr. Efetobo Awhana is an African tourism strategist, industry advocate and event producer with more than two decades of experience across aviation, travel services, hospitality, tourism media, destination marketing and events.

He is the producer of Nigeria Travel Week, a platform that brought tourism professionals, destinations and industry stakeholders together to strengthen collaboration and advance tourism development, with the Nigeria Tourism Awards serving as its flagship event.

Today, Efetobo serves as Executive Producer of the Africa Tourism Awards – The Balearica Awards, an international platform celebrating excellence across Africa’s tourism industry and showcasing the continent’s tourism achievements to a global audience.

His cross-sector experience spans airline operations, travel consultancy, hospitality, media and stakeholder partnerships, giving him a broad perspective on the African visitor economy and the interconnected industries that support its growth.

Through his work, Efetobo advocates for stronger connectivity, destination development, service excellence, investment, storytelling and collaboration as essential drivers of Africa’s tourism growth.

Mr. Chike Ogeah is a lawyer, public policy expert and seasoned business leader with a distinguished career spanning aviation, government, hospitality, corporate governance and strategic management.

He holds degrees in Psychology and Law from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. After several years in legal practice, he transitioned into public service, where he worked within the Presidency in strategic roles at the National Planning Commission, including as Special Assistant to two Chief Economic Advisers to the President. He also served as National Coordinator of the States Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy (SEEDS) and as a Facilitating Consultant with the Office of the Millennium Development Goals.

In 2006, Mr. Ogeah was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SkyPower Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL), a Federal Government-owned aviation ground handling company. During his tenure, he played a key role in the company's privatisation in 2010, a process recognised for its transparency and successful execution.

He subsequently served as Commissioner for Information, Delta State, from 2011 to 2015, before returning to the corporate sector and taking on leadership and board positions across various organisations.

Mr. Ogeah was also Vice-Chairman of Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO) and currently serves as Managing Director of Mac-Folly Hospitality Limited, owners of Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, within the SIFAX Group of Companies. He is also a Director of Excelerate Energy Resources Limited (ExGas) and serves on the boards of several other companies.

His extensive experience across aviation, public policy, infrastructure, hospitality and corporate leadership gives him a unique perspective on the interconnected sectors driving Africa's economic development.

At AeroWest Summit 2026, Mr. Ogeah brings this perspective to conversations on aviation, tourism, hospitality, investment, infrastructure and the opportunities for stronger economic integration across West & Central Africa.

Dr. Jermaine Sanwoolu is a Nigerian-British public relations and leadership consultant, diaspora engagement expert and registered Estate Surveyor & Valuer with a multidisciplinary career spanning government, international relations, real estate, strategic communications, leadership and community development.

He currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Office of Diaspora Affairs (LASDA), an office he pioneered after previously serving as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Diaspora and Foreign Relations from 2019 to 2023. Through this work, he has contributed to strengthening the relationship between Lagos State and its diaspora while promoting the state's interests and opportunities internationally.

Prior to his government role, Dr. Sanwoolu built experience across real estate, banking, business consulting, financial services and youth development. He is also the founder of Diaspora PR Ltd, established in 2014 to provide media and publicity services, particularly within the African diaspora community.

His professional experience includes working with the Nigerian High Commission in London, the Nigerian Diaspora Commission and other prominent public figures and institutions. He has also served in leadership positions within Nigerian diaspora organisations in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Dr. Sanwoolu holds a PhD in Project Management from Lagos State University, with research focused on diaspora engagement and construction project performance in Lagos State. His academic background also includes International Law & Diplomacy, Diaspora & Transnational Studies, Management, Public Relations & Strategic Communication, International Business and Real Estate Management.

He is a passionate advocate for diaspora engagement, investment, leadership, international collaboration and community development, and has received several recognitions for his contributions in these areas.

At AeroWest Summit 2026, Dr. Sanwoolu brings this perspective to conversations on diaspora investment, international partnerships, tourism, connectivity and the role of global African communities in driving sustainable economic growth across West & Central Africa.

Capt. Samuel A. Caulcrick is an accomplished aviation professional, former Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) and a respected contributor to public discourse on aviation, economics and national development.

Throughout his career, he has developed extensive experience within the aviation industry and has contributed informed perspectives to contemporary policy and sectoral issues affecting Nigeria's aviation landscape.

Beyond aviation, Capt. Caulcrick is the author of POWER IN NIGERIA: Will There Ever Be Light?, a thought-provoking work examining Nigeria's persistent power challenges and their broader implications for national development.

He currently provides aviation consultancy services, advising on industry and strategic aviation matters while continuing to engage in public conversations around the future of aviation and the Nigerian economy.

His experience at the intersection of aviation, policy, economics and national development provides a valuable perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing the sector.

Mr. Adedayo Olawuyi is a highly accomplished aviation executive with a distinguished career in the airline industry, specialising in commercial strategy, route and network development, schedule planning, revenue management, sales, marketing and business development.

He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer of United Nigeria Airlines, where he is responsible for driving the airline’s commercial strategy and growth initiatives.

Prior to joining United Nigeria Airlines, Adedayo served as Chief Commercial Officer of Uganda Airlines, Uganda’s national carrier. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the airline’s market presence and opening new routes to Lagos, Mumbai, Abuja, Lusaka, Harare and London Gatwick.

His experience across airline commercial operations has given him a strong understanding of the factors required to build sustainable routes, grow passenger markets, improve revenue performance and enhance customer experience.

Adedayo holds a Master’s Degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Mr. Babatunde Afolabi is a tourism entrepreneur, experiential marketing consultant and cultural advocate whose work sits at the intersection of tourism, culture, destination marketing and experiential development.

He is the Founder of Black Boy Afrika Group and the Black Boy Africa Gallery, a cultural platform focused on preserving and showcasing the richness of Yoruba heritage across the six states of Southwestern Nigeria.

He is also the Convener of the Thrive Community, a network of more than 100 destination tour guides across Nigeria, created to foster collaboration, professional development and capacity building within the country's tourism ecosystem.

As an experiential marketing consultant, Babatunde has designed and executed brand and destination experiences while working with stakeholders across the public and private sectors. His work has contributed to promoting Nigeria's destinations and strengthening the connection between culture, tourism and economic opportunity.

Babatunde is also the Founder of Ethnic Fragrances, a luxury fragrance brand creating bespoke fragrances for high-net-worth individuals across Africa, and the Convener of the Amala and Palm Wine Festival, whose inaugural edition in 2025 attracted more than 3,000 attendees, celebrating indigenous culture, community tourism and local economic development.

A member of the National Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) and other professional networks, he continues to advocate for cultural preservation, tourism development, destination storytelling and strategic partnerships.
